A cada ano a importância do Critics Choice Awards cresce, especialmente depois de todos os problemas do Globo de Ouro. Hoje foram anunciados os indicados ao prêmio nas categorias de TV . As categorias de filmes serão anunciadas somente no dia 14. Abbott Elementary teve o maior número de indicações , com sete, seguido de Better Call Saul com cinco. Alguns detalhes interessantes da lista. Há duas indicações póstumas : Ray Liotta por Black Bird e Leslie Jordan por Call Me Kat. Há surpresas boas como a indicação de The Offer como melhor minissérie ( e Matthew Goode como coadjuvante). Mas também ruins, como a ausência de Only murders in the Building como melhor série de comédia, e Martin Short como ator de comédia.
